With Valentine’s day just a few weeks away, these chocolate covered strawberries are the perfect treat to make for your spouse or significant other.
Tonight was my very first time to try making chocolate covered strawberries and I was so surprised at how easy they were to make. If I can make them, so can you.
Shopping List
Head to your favorite grocery store and get all the ingredients that you need to make these super easy chocolate-covered strawberries.
- fresh strawberries
- vanilla melting bark
- Wilton Christmas Red Gel Food Coloring (aff link)
- 1 package of semisweet chocolate chips
- zip lock bag
- coconut oil
Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Make these quick and easy homemade chocolate covered strawberries.
Ingredients
- 1 package White Chocolate Chips
- 1 jar Wilton Christmas Red Gel Food Coloring
- 1 package Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 package Fresh Stawberries
Instructions
- Wash and dry strawberries.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave on 50% power for 30-second intervals.
- Add a small amount of Wilton Christmas red gel food coloring to the melted white chocolate and stir.
- Dip strawberries into the melted chocolate and place on parchment paper to harden.
- Place a handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips into a Ziplock bag and microwave for 10 to 15-second intervals on 50% power.
- Cut a small tip off the corner of the Ziplock bag.
- Slowly drizzle the chocolate over your strawberries and allow the chocolate to fully harden before moving them.
- Store in an airtight container and put them in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
