Halloween Caramel Apple Slices

Does your little one come home from school expecting a snack? My son always comes home and the first thing that he tells me after walking in the door that he is hungry. I keep plenty of snacks in the pantry and refrigerator for him to choose from but since Halloween is two weeks away, I wanted to surprise him with a healthy Halloween snack. He loved these Halloween caramel apple slices. Check out our Halloween Chocolate Covered Strawberries too!

Apples are one of my son’s favorite fruits to eat and I couldn’t be happier. I’d much rather my son pick up fruit or another healthy snack over junk food. So when we were at the grocery store, I picked up a bag of green apples, caramel dip, and Halloween sprinkles.

  1. I love how simple this idea is! I think we actually have those ingredients already but I hadn’t thought about putting sprinkles on the caramel but will do it soon for sure!

  2. These are a great Halloween treat. My boys love eating fruit – especially apples. This would be a wonderful way to spice things up for them.

  3. I do this all of the time only not as pretty. We went to a party over the summer and the watermelon and apples were placed close to each other and as I salted my watermelon I accidentally salted my apples which I then dipped in caramel and it was A-MAZ-ing!
