Strawberry Star Cookies

Come and make these Strawberry Star Cookies with me. These cookies are inspired by Patrick from SpongeBob Squarepants. Let’s celebrate and check out the new release of The Patrick Star Show: Season 1 Volume 1 below our cookie recipe.

Ingredients Needed

• 1 Cup of Butter (Room Temperature)
• 1 Cup of Granulated Sugar
• 1 Large Egg (Room Temperature)
• 1.5 Tsp Vanilla Extract
• 2 Tsp Baking Powder
• 3 Cups of All-Purpose Flour
• White Cookie Icing
• 20 – 24 Large Strawberries
• 24 Blueberries

Supplies Needed

• Rolling Pin
• Parchment Paper
• Star Cookie Cutter
• Cutting Board (Optional)
• Cooling Rack

Directions

1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
2. Line Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper
3. Using a Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer, Whip Butter for 2 Minutes on Medium.
4. Turn Mixer to Low and Slowly Add Sugar Slowly
5. Once Sugar is Combined, Add Egg Until Fully Combined
6. Add Vanilla Extract Until Fully Combined
7. Add Baking Soda Until Fully Combined
8. Slowly Add in Flour Until the Dough Looks Light and Fluffy
9. Place Dough On Cutting Board.
10. Roll Out Dough Until it is 1/4 Inch Thick
11. Use Cookie Cutter to Make Star Cookies
12. Place the Cookies on the Cookie Sheet That is Lined With Parchment Paper
13. Bake for 6 to 7 Minutes
14. Set Cookies on Cooling Rack
15. While Cookies are Baking, Cut the Stems Off of the Strawberries and Cut Thin Slices From the Center Length Wise. Trimming As Needed
16. Wash and Pat Dry the Strawberries
17. Wash and Pat Dry the Blueberries
18. Once the Cookies are Cooled, Add White Icing to Each Cookie and Let Sit for 20 Minutes
19. Gently Press 5 Strawberries into the Corner of the Star
20. Then Place 1 Blueberry into the Center
21. Enjoy Immediately or Store in an Air-Tight Container in the Refrigerator
